It’s now nearly 24 hours since I completed the Tour de Mont Blanc and I’m still a little shell-shocked. It was one of the richest experiences I’ve ever had. This one had everything – breathtaking scenery, fun with great friends, delicious food, wildlife, oddly-good weather and even a birthday celebration in a perfect high-alpine refuge. Couldn’t ask for more.

Hopefully the fires clear soon. It’s going to be a while before I’m back in CA. Probably sometime next year at the earliest. I’m going to do at least the hikes in Nepal and New Zealand before I go back. If you have any vacation time though, should join up with me for one of the hikes. I already have Tom on board for a chunk of the New Zealand hike.
